Thinking about the words angel oil makes me think of an extract or purified form of good... to me loudness and the physical sides of sound without melody or structure always had this innate quality of goodness to them, that allows me to reach catharsis. I'm not so interested in depressive noise... I'm more interested in noise music (and the performance of it) as free expression and at its best even an active meditation for soothing the individual, and that's what is recorded on Angel Oil.
